DAN MANDELBAUM (1-800)
The original colored marker drawing is now an archival giclee print on Innova Smooth Cotton High White IFA-14 paper with pigmented inks. The overall dimensions are: 30”x22” that includes a 1/4” border around the artwork. The original artwork (circa 2016) that this print was produced from does not appear to be signed by Daniel.
Dan Mandelbaum had a period of colored marker drawings, some of which concentrated on repetitive images, whereas this piece is very busy with lots of activity seemingly centered around a birthday party. Dan has a current body of work that focuses on ceramic sculptures and tiles. He works out of a studio in Brooklyn NY not far from Ridgewood. He has shown work at galleries in Copenhagen, Brussels, Mexico City, NYC, and a variety of other US cities as well.
